Rigging
My primary focus for week two was to complete the rig for our vehicle and get it handed off to our animator. After some experimentation with rigid body constraints in Houdini I decided that a more animation oriented rig would be best for the job. I definitely want to revisit rbd vehicle setups in Houdini but it definitely seemed more oriented towards something like a vehicle crash simulation where as we need art directable motion for the spot.
The rig still needs some tweaking around the suspension of the vehicle but it is an a relatively good spot as we move forward.
